Noli, who is a native of Peru, has been engaged in teaching at a professional, private and academic level for more than ten years. During this time, she has taught Spanish, Japanese and basic Italian in various countries around the world. She is very multicultural and has a passion for learning which makes it fun and exciting for all students, of all ages. She has taught students both Primary and Secondary levels in Schools around New Zealand and is constantly researching for better methods in teaching using various media such as video, music and hands-on, practical workshops so that her students enjoy the full benefit of learning and get the most out of the lessons. Noli has been very effective with her unique style of teaching. |
Sylvie is a French native speaker and hase been teaching French at all levels for over 20 years, mainly in Jamaica, then in England – and now in Auckland where she recently moved. Sylvie has a BA in English, a postgraduate degree in the Teaching of French as a Foreign Language and British Qualified Teacher Status. "I love teaching little (and not so little!) ones and am delighted to have joined the LCF Languages team. Teaching/learning a foreign language with LCF is FUN! It also gives children the opportunity to discover other cultures and at the same time acquire lifelong transferable skills." |
Sophie Su is a native Mandarin speaker and she comes from China. She is a passionate and experienced early childhood educator and she really knows children.
She has experience as a kindergarten teacher in China and New Zealand obtaining her New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education in July 2012. Sophie loves language teaching. She believes that to learn another language opens another window to life and all children benefit from it. |

Have a look at what we get up to in our clubs
- You are welcome to come along to see an existing class with no obligation to join
- All pre-school children need to trial a class before joining
- Parents who are able to stay with their children are encouraged to do so
- A parent or caregiver needs to stay with pre-school children (unless by prior arrangement)
We have new clubs starting up all the time so if you don't find a club to suit you please contact me to put your name down on our waiting list and I can keep you informed when a new club starts up.
And remember, you can form your own group for us to teach - we only need 5 kids to get a club started!
Cost
The cost per lesson per child is $18 per lesson plus GST from 1 April 2013. There is a yearly membership fee of $50 which in the first year includes a CD, songbook (no songbook for Mandarin but a copy of the text is available), clear file, bag, BABELZONE subscription, reward stickers and certificates at the end of the year.
BABELZONE is our FUN online language learning resource with many activities and games to help your child in their language learning journey. For our French for Kids and Spanish for Kids clubs only. (valued at approx. NZD150.00 p.a)
LCF Fun Languages CDs
The CDs expose your child to the target language in between classes and go a long way in helping develop their ear for, and pronunciation of, the language. Because we also use the songs from the CD to teach vocabulary it makes it much easier and faster for both the teacher and the children if they have already been exposed to the songs, so it's really important for your child to listen to their CDs. In no time at all your kids will be singing along with perfect accents! I find having the CD in the car the easiest way to achieve this – that way I don’t have to think about it!
