Lunchtime French Classes a Hit in Wellington

The lunchtime French classes, which are held at various schools around Wellington, are becoming very popular for children.

Children come along to the class with their lunch and are taught French in a relaxed environment with the emphasis always on fun. The lunchtime classes provide the opportunity for children to learn a foreign language without having to attend a class after school and fitting in with all their other after-school activities.

Wellington schools which currently offer lunchtime French through Fun Languages include: Marsden Lower School, Churton Park School and Karori Normal School. More lunchtime classes are planned for future terms.

Marsden Lunchtime French class a success
Over 40 girls from Marsden≠s Lower School in Wellington attended the Lunchtime French classes in Term 1 of 2008. The classes have been a big success and are run over two lunchtimes using two teachers in each class.
