Compulsory foreign language learning from aged 7 in U.K.

It's easier to learn a foreign language when we're younger and bi or multi-lingualism is a very useful skill for work in today's global economy.  It would appear that England agrees and British Ministers are putting forth a new government plan to make foreign language learning compulsory for all school children age 7 and above.  The plan includes the introduction of foreign languages such as French, German, Spanish, Mandarin, Latin and Greek for all children.
